Balcony or terrace... Double !!!

I dont remember if i ever mentioned this before ( probably yes because its one of those things when it comes to the app that makes me soooooo excited) so the apartament has not one but two (2) (!) lovely balconies which makes me a lucky girl ! I used to live in different places and when it came to a condominium with no balcony it was a real nono :(
And this place has twooooo.... The entire building is going through a major reno so first things first, the balconies - well one at a time at least..
Check out just how ugggglly the previous balconies were -

For a couple of weeks we lived with only one of our old balconies whcih didn't matter as we were so excited about the renovation. Half of the walk-out was covered with plywood.

But thanks to the fact that you can see balcony no 1 from balcony no 2, we were following all that was going on...

We were so happy when finally about 5 weeks later they unblocked the doors and we could check out our new beautifull balcony for the first time:

We decided to decorate it very casually for the time being, so we used teak removable panels ( we plan to take them off for the winter time )

Note: it is unbeliveable how these smell after a sunny day ! You can smell this wooden wonderful scent every afternoon even though they've been outside for about 7 weeks now.

We also used:
Chairs from Target
Baskets
Driftwood - Lake Ontario
Blankets - Target
Lamp - ts shop
Accent table - ts shop

Summer is still so hot that sometimes we watch movies in the evening there:

Love that view :

Masterbedroom planning

You have been already introduced to our bedroom in one of the first posts here ... Well i can't wait to have   some work done  in here

We got rid of the bed you see above and right now the headboard searching mode is on...
Also there is a  virtual makeover from some time ago which i never posted before :

I used redesign application, unfortunatelly couldnt find a room with windows similar to the ones we have so you got to use imagination....
Right now i am at the point where i am not sure if this layout (bed opposite to the door, right under the windows ) will be ideal one... At the beginning it seemed to be the best option but i am not sure Anymore. It wont help much to create a new design because i know i have to " feel" it so i guess some furniture moving is gonna happen really soon....

When it goes to the style i am not decided which one to choose maybe it will be boho - because it means it can be mix of everything.. Spector loves mid-century modern which DO NOT goes with my fascination about shabby chic, then again how to put shabby and glamour together, how do i fit some coastal there plus he wants it to be not so girlie and more hampton style.... Only good thing is that u dont get stressed too much because you can always change anything, right ? I am not one of those people who renovate and leave this for next 15 years or so...

Some pictures of the places i visited and love and might be inspiration for our bedroom:

And those stairs !!!!

New items and master bedroom changes

They are not perfect and - which is a bigger problem actually - there are only 3 of them buti simply could not NOT to buy these especially thT those 3 lovely ladies costed in total only ... 25 cents !!! Thats the beauty of shopping at the flea market !!!

They are made in England, i love their modern look - especially the shape but also ascetic colour - white and black can never go wrong :)

I also got this pair of candle holders ( these were from Winners)  from my fiancee And i am thinking about repainting the red one (which i got before ) into white so it mAtches... .... There are few more things that are red ( which surprises me because i am not a big fan of that colour in my home since i had red walls in my teenager room- and it still was not that long ago so i can fall into that colour again :))
anyway:

Candle holders

Red(!) Eiffel Tower

Fruit (?) platter

My biggest dream for now is to get rid of randomness of the colours in this app....i know it will take time and there is nothing to be hurry about but still...

Ohhh the main changes from last week : we get rid of this bed :

So actually we are bed-less family :) good thing - we still have a couch so we crashed on it last night ...
Also - i got rid of.....brown colour on the dresser !!! Yayy..well - almost ! I will be giving separate post about that one but in the meanwhile jus a sneakpeek:

Tadaaah : thats how master bedroom look noW:

Yep - a bit of stripped dresser cardboards and... That's it

I also literally ripped out the doors from our closet:

There used to be sliding doors in here but because closet is not walk in closet but rather walk through closet ( you have tow alk through to get to the washroom actually)
So these doors were pain in the ass especially that both me and MR keep our clothes there so sliding doors were really baaaad.... I am thinking about having a fabric cover there instead of sliding doors so thats another thing i have to think about...

Art

Completely forgot about that although did talk with mum about that weeks ago and tried to describe that my newest  most favourite piece of art  that it is....ladies and gentleman : "Wood in fire" aka " " wood and a Moon" aka "wood and  a sun" .... As long and it has no title we can title it however we want....feel free to tell me what you see  there :

U can see how big piece it is in the picture below ( u will also notice i repainted the frame)

Frames and pillows

Walls are still beige or brownish in whole condo  but we have a bunch of frames so we decided to rather let them hang on walls instead of gathering the dust by laying in a corner completely forgotten. So we first did put them on on the floor to see what set up we want to achieve. Then you kinda transfer "the pattern" onto walls, drill and....taddaaah:

No idea why does it look in that one soooo croocked, i assure you they look "normal" in real life :)

Also have a look into new pillows - ones wit no.7 were DYI project - i simply copied and tranfered the 7 pattern from my ipad used black sharpie and then painted it with acrylic black paint...

Multiplying some vintages..

Can you guess what is that ?

Hint: its mr Spectors bday gift :)
Now take a look once again:

Yep...old vintage original canadien maps...we were thinking about hanging them on the wall just as they r but mr Spector came with a better idea : Lets cut them !!! Whaaat?!?!?!?!

But mr Spector says, mr Spector gets ( loool hope u like this one mr Spector) so there was some cutting and stapling, some destroying Ikea decorating panels - to have perfect frames) and now we are living with those not 2 BUT 6 pieces and we simply love them !!

Those ikea pics were in wood+glass frames - priced down from 17 to 12$ so it was a real steal...all we had to do was ...destroying what was inside and put our cutted maps...

And.. Tadaaah:
